These are the individuals who volunteer their time and energy to keeping our community safe. While some may run into burning buildings, we also need folks who support the firefighters and their mission behind the scenes. Fundraising, recruitment, and even just cleaning the station are essential to running a firehouse. There's a place for everyone.
Our fire chief, Adrian Huff, has many years of experience, and has been with our department for the last 13. He specializes in training our fire personnel, but you will see him at most public events, teaching fire safety to whoever will listen.
Lt. Schrock has been a valued member of our team for approximately three and a half years, serving as a firefighter and driver engineer within Lacy Lakeview. He has successfully achieved his primary goal objectives which include protecting lives of the community and enhancing the department.
Lt. Young joined our team, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to our department.
Lt. Young is currently in aviation school and is a licensed Part 107 FAA drone pilot, and a ProBoard Certified Rope Rescue Tech. With 12 years of experience in both fire and medical fields, he is well-equipped to make a positive impact.
Lt. Young is passionate about this field, assisting the community, and creating safe outcomes and aspires to one day become Captain.
Christy holds many positions in the department. She is our admin, firefighter, and Nationally Registered Child Passenger Safety Technician and EMR. She teaches car seat education and runs calls with the rest of the team. Her versatility and energy make Christy a highly valued member of this firehouse.
Driver Pump Operator Lucko is a seasoned firefighter with previous experience serving with Lacy Lakeview in 2015. After several years with Beverly Hills and Elm Mott, he returned to our department in 2024. Engineer Lucko's passion for his work is clear; he enjoys the job itself. He also manages our social media accounts and is involved in developing our cadet program, set to launch soon.
FF Deschaine has been a vital member of our team since early 2024, bringing comic relief to the dept! His goal is to simply continue serving in a fire and medical capacity. He also enjoys teaching and mentoring any new recruit that wants to learn! His long term goal is to become our next Fire Lieutenant!
FF Quintanilla joined our team in early 2024, bringing a sense of humor and a passion for learning. He is an aviation enthusiast who enjoys road trips and is currently pursuing flight training.
Although Quintanilla lacked prior experience, he has quickly adapted, acquiring new skills and making notable contributions in the department. His growth and enthusiasm for new challenges is admirable.
Cinder is our rodent control specialist, and he is very skilled in his trade. He not only loves his job, but you can find him supervising and overseeing daily operations. He is a very skilled in napping.
